Cathedral Christian Academy is a Christian school with a mission to be an extension of parental efforts to educate their children spiritually, mentally, physically and socially in an excellent, Christ-centered manner.
CCA is a K-12 school. Working closely with parents, our primary goals are to assist each child in:
• Achieving his/her highest academic potential;
• Developing sound Christian work habits and character traits; and
• Growing in their personal knowledge of God in a loving, nurturing environment.
Cathedral Christian Academy is under the direction of The Prayer Palace Church located in Toronto, Ontario. We are currently seeking a full-time high-school teacher to join our team for the upcoming 2011-2012 school year.
The potential candidate should be a motivated and energetic teacher who will participate actively in the life of the school in a manner which supports and promotes the mission of Cathedral Christian Academy. We have stable, supportive and compatible staff making the work atmosphere very satisfying. Our class sizes are small providing the ideal opportunity to connect with students and families.
The Ideal Candidate must be:
• Passionate about teaching in a Christ-centered environment.
• Experienced and hold a Bachelor degree (Credential preferred).
• Subject matter knowledge must be solid; candidate must be prepared to teach and tutor material at a high school level immediately.
• Reliable and professional.
• Committed to high-school achievement and continuous professional growth.
• Comfortable with creating cohesive relationships by teaming with colleagues and families.
